Best Way to Avoid Getting SCAMMED When Selling a Site?

Any pointers on this? I've got a site that does pretty well but I just don't want it anymore, so I'm looking to sell it. Thing is I know that listing on a place like Flippa is going to attract a lot of people who might just make the payment, take the site, then do a charge back (or something similar).

Is there anything you can do to avoid this? Any tips?

Use Escrow.com. It's one of the safest ways to take payment for a site. Do not use Paypal (even if it seems easier)!

Agree on using Escrow for this, especially if you think the site will be worth more. Good luck!

Or use a broker... the site has to be worth a good bit to make it worthwhile though...

Yeah, do not use PP, i was scammed for $500, sent full website , transfered domain, and guy easily win a dispute. I sent all info - mails about transfers, etc, called them few times, - nothing. PayPal Sucks!

If you're selling a high budget site or at least $200+ or whatever is a lot of money for you, I'd advise you to use Escrow. Even flippa encourages their users to use it.

After seeing the consensus on Paypal + site flipping, I'm going to be skeptical of anyone using Paypal when selling/purchasing a site from now on lol.
