New guy says hi

Hi guys.

My name is Jakob. Just wanted to see if I had it in me to make some money online. My IM knowledge is minimal, but I have some experience selling products in the Auto industry and good PC skills, so I guess I should be alright once I get the ball rolling. I am looking forward to finding out how to get started.

Just a little hickup: I was going to ask a question to the author of a WSO, but got the message that I needed to post at least 30 posts before I was alowed to reply to that thread? Okay, I'll contact him via PM, but no, 15 posts are required to do this? Quite annoying...

Hi Jakob and welcome!
Yes, it's annoying but once you've read some of the threads....you will see why those rules are in place.
Plan on doing a lot of reading. Should familiarize yourself with the rules first, then jump on in. There are tons of great threads on getting started in IM. From finding a niche, to link building, to creating blogs & websites, to SEO...it's all here! Be like a sponge and soak it all in...lol

Thanks Ken. I have read the forum rules and plan on doing alot of research. There is a PD WSO by Kneb Knebaih that really caught my attention (probably not the most sensible to start with, but the PD topic sounds very exciting).

Welcome to the forum. I hear your annoyance with that 30/15 posts rule, but I suppose it's there to make sure new members are sincere in wanting to participate here.

I spend a lot of time in various online business and marketing forums and you do see quite a few people who post only one time, then they're gone. The posting rule helps assure that new members become more familiar with forum protocol and ethics before jumping in too deeply.

Hang in there: you will be rewarded for your commitment!
