Question: How Do You Use StunbleUponTo Drive Traffic?

I have seen that make post have thousands of views. How is this possible. How is this achieved?

Are there any e-books on the subject? I am sure many others will like to know

    You don't need an ebook for Stumbleupon. What you need is a really fun and/or interesting post. Stumblers don't care much for ordinary Internet marketing posts or sales pages in general. They like cool photos and videos or really great posts.

    I've had some success with Stumble Upon. However, the traffic is not really that good. The way I've done it is to create a really colorful page on my blog, one that is eye catching with good content. I'm not totally sure how SU works, but I belive the more people who "like" the page, the more traffic it can get. The best run I had was 1455 hits within 2 hours. However, none of it resulted in any sales. Now, I just don't bother because the traffic isn't that good. I guess if you are going for a "viral" effect it could be good.

    Beyond putting up some quality content that people will like, there is no way I know of to manipulate SU traffic. When people do start stumbling a page it can result in a lot of traffic.

    But like most of the social bookmarking traffic I've seen, it does not make money. It might be worth about a cent for every 1000 visitors. I suppose you can buy stumbles, but except for vanity, there wouldn't be a point.

    The success with SU mainly depends on following factors.

    1.How much interesting contents you’re sharing.
    2.Number of active followers you have.

    When you become more and more mailed with above factors, automatically, your profile and contents gets more thumb ups.

    So, what you should do? Share interesting information among the community and start building relationships with other users.

    Yea I've never really given SU a chance because of all the negative I've heard about how effective it is. Normally I like to try everything out at least once but I honestly don't think I've heard anything positive about it as a source of traffic.
