Looking for an experience copywriter- place your quote

I am looking for an experience copywriter to rewrite my sales page. Basically you will start from scratch. I have paid 2 copywriter before this but the result was disappointing. Its not as what I expected from a copywriter. So please, only if you know what you're doing reply to this thread with your quote. Please provide some past work, would be better. My product is about making money online. I won't say too much about my product, I'll leave it to you to ask me the question. You can also recommend me good copywriter you know of. As a bonus, I will forward you the first 3 sales I get for my product from your sales copy. I hope this will motivate you to write a good copy.

OK, I know you mean well... but that's not much of a bonus. It works out to be a bonus of about 1-2% of the fee.

Most of the experienced copywriters I know that I'd recommend start at $4K and go up from there.

No offense, but an extra $150-$210 isn't going to sway a top-notch copywriter.

I think Dean Dhuli might have a WSO running right now. Other than that, I can't think of anyone else I recommend, including myself, for less than $4K or $5K.

Thanks for the advice. Wow, I didn't know copy writing can go way up to 4K. Guess I am still new to these copy writing stuff. Anyway if someone is good and can sell my product through his/her copy, why not.

Well, the more famous the copywriter and the more winners they've produced, the higher their fee. To hire someone like Dan Kennedy or Clayton Makepeace would probably cost you $100K plus royalties.

Writing a great sales letter is a lot of work... I can put 40+ hours easily into writing a sales letter with research, competitive analysis, writing, proofing, editing, and so on before I turn the sales letter over to the client.

Are you sure that the lack of response in the past was due to incompetence of the copywriters you hired?

Or is it possible that you have issues with your list (target audience) and/or offer?

Do you have any historical conversion data?

What about traffic sources and keywords you've been using?

There are a lot of variables involved in copywriting that influence how well one's copywriting skills shine. Knowing what you're doing when it comes to writing the copy isn't the hard part.
