Impact of 10 day server outage on Google placement?

Hi.

One of my dedicated servers went down and it took me several days to get it back on line, re installed and then it took another few days to get the websites reloaded.

I learnt a lot from it and if it happened again, I could get it all back within a few hours.

However, I noticed that my websites have lost their positions in Google.

Has anyone experience of this before?
Can I expert them to reappear in the indexes again after a few days?

    From where do you god the server? witch company ?
    I use my own VPS server and in case something happen its up in 2 min

    About google position i have no idea.
