Aged domain for 'seeds' what is priority age PR keywords

Hi Guys

I'm building ecommerce site for Vegetable, Flower and Herb Seeds sent by post. I've been looking for a relevant Aged domian with PR, but have been unable to find domain with 'seeds' in name. Page 1 high ranking is important quickly.

My question is: How do I calculate which of available domains will acheive best results ?

for example
Register a new domain with keyword relevance no PR
buy 15yr aged domain without keyword relevance low PR
buy 5yr aged domain without keyword relevance high PR

The variables are confusing me, Does anybody have a formula.

Better still do you have a aged Seeds domain?

    Why are you trying to buy an aged domain in the first place? Are you trying to "buy" authority? This does work, sometimes, but I'm just wondering why you want to do this exactly.

    If you're trying to establish a brand I'd recommend getting a new domain with your keyword in it + your brand name (hopefully your brand contains your keyword too, IF you're taking the branding route).

    Aged domains can be expensive and kind of a mistake waiting to happen since there could be penalties on the domain that'd be transferred to your site, even if it does have high PR.

    Pagerank is pretty irrelevant. I wouldn't buy based on pagerank. I'd rather register a new domain that was relevant to the site than use an old one that was not relevant, but had pagerank. Go to Freshdrop.net and using the right sidebar to filter results, see if there are any freshly dropped domains with seeds in it.

    You are correct I am trying to buy authority with an aged domain, since posting I have found a suitable domain registered in 1997 with my keyword in the domain name so I will build my site / brand around this name.

    HOWEVER I now need to check out its history to make sure it doesn't have anything negative that could cause me problems in the future. Any advice and links to tools for this great.
