HTML vs FLASH

INTERNET MARKETING

I found a very sweet Flash Template that I would love to purchase and use... but I have heard so many negative things about having a Flash Website.

What are the pro's and con's of having an HTML vs FLASH website?

FLASH is beautiful but not SEO friendly. HTML is ugly and it is SEO friendly. That's it.

Flash also isn't compatible with Iphones/Ipads so they won't be able to see your site. Flash was big years ago because it looks so cool, but in my opinion (and most people's opinions) the downside to Flash outweighs the good.

  LOL well thank God this template can be downloaded in both Flash and HTML. It still looks nice either way though

  If you're building a web app then flash still has capabilities which even HTML 5 can't do. However, if you just want a snappy looking site, I'd stick with HTML for many of the reasons already mentioned.

  Search crawlers didn't crawl web information completely on flash websites and also doesn't like to crawl those flashy pages, that was the main reason behind not using flash templates. I have idea for you, modify or order similar graphics template to your like ones in flash that will be in j query code by any good theme developing company.

I have my site with the header in flash and the rest in HTML.. it looks really slick. 80K+ visitors a month and growing. ** not making money off of it yet**

Flash looks cool but it is not SEO friendly. Not open in some browser because flash player not install on them.
