I have seen a lot of people trying to do all the thinking by themselves when they can easily get ideas without even having to think. I recently built an email list of people I wanted to sell my stuff to...A few of them used email me back once in a while with their suggestions and that's when I actually had my light bulb moment. I said to myself wait a minute...What these people are suggesting is actually quite valuable and can be worked into something big. So I sent an email to the whole list and asked them to tell me if they were in my place...How would they do it? What would they like to see? What would they add? What would they take off? And the big question- "WHY?" I always asked them the main reason why they would like to make changes. I got about 100 replies and 10 of them were absolutely stunning ideas. I have people writing 1000+ word emails to me with loads of stuff which can be easily used and turned into something big. But if you were to study any fortune 500 company you would realize most of them have been using this concept since years. Microsoft was a company started by bill gates but has been built upon the ideas of it's employees. So why try to do everything by yourself when you can have other people to think for you? And that too for FREE. 1000 Brains are always better than 1 brain. Let me know if you guys find this useful. |

Absolutely. You want to consider the tone of the responses, to see which are representative of your market, but there's nothing better than feedback. Especially creative feedback. Excellent advice. Paul |

Also opinions can actually turn into ideas as well...So being a good listener actually works.
