No more Yahoo Site Explorer - What's your alternative?

Alright so we all know that Yahoo finally discontinued Site Explorer. I was just curious to see what alternatives others are now using to analyse backlinks?

Personally I've made the switch over to Majestic SEO and I should have done it a long time ago.

I've found they retrieve around 3 times the amount of backlinks then what Site Explorer was able to do.

Thanks for the tip and new tool as I am also using it for my own site however, could you recommend any alternative that allows you to get report of backlinks of other sites? I used to utilize site yahoo site explorer for this and its too bad that it can't be use anymore...

My experience is that Majestic is updated more often and is more complete. I'm still using the free version but I'm about to subscribe. Here are the high level stats I just got for a new website I'm tracking. Majestic listed 18 external domains linking to it, ahrefs listed 10 and OSE didn't have any yet. I've got some links that are a month old, so OSE is pretty slow. Anyone else do a similar comparison?

Majestic SEO is the perfect alternative of Yahoo Site Explorer. I've been using this for months already, and I'm satisfied with it.

The suggestions above are great but keep in mind no backlink checking tool will give anywhere near accurate results. It is a good way to estimate the number of backlinks indexed but there are a lot of backlinks they are not picking up.

Here's one I haven't heard many people talking about before. It seems decent except that you can only search your top level domain. It also has a service that allows you to check your rankings for 3 keywords on your site. Here's a direct link.

  I second that one. While I do not think it is the best, it will give you some great results and quickly too.

Currently, we are also choosing fromopen site explorer , Majestic, ahrefs but we need to weigh in our options carefully before paying huge amounts for those alternatives. Your inputs for these sites would really help us a lot
