Hi to everyone! This is my first post in this brilliant forum!

I want to ask a very simple question. If you were to start now you will begin with a squeeze page or a blog?I think that blog is better combined with affiliate marketing because google ranks very well blogs(if you create a quality blog combined with high searched keywords i think that you can drive enough traffic to your site).Epsecially after the death of ezine articles squeeze pages are not the best...So what do you think?

First of all, welcome to the warrior forum!

I'd go with a blog. Be careful when researching your keywords. I recommend using Market Samurai, so you get the best results. Make sure your keyword has at least 1,000 or more a month of search results with a low amount of competition. This way you can rank easily, and much quicker.

But I'm sure you knew all of that

    Just giving you my opinion.

It depends on the niche but I often use both depending and use them accordingly. If I was buying traffic then I'd send it to a squeeze page while the blog tends to pick up organic listings.

For the sake of a 15 minutes work, a squeeze page is very easy to set-up and try out.

Fast reply. Thanks both of you for answering the question.
--RobHiness--I have never used market samurai before. Is it better than google keyword tool?
Also i think that if you have experience with blogging(which i have as i have already a blog) i dont think it is hard eoungh to rank very high in google. Also i see that there are blogs that rank first in google for very competitive words(example weight loss etc..)and their statistics of sites-blogs are very bad.So i thnik that you can rank very well if you do a serious job with your blog even for a very competitive keyword.
    Do you agree?

--Big Al--:Agree with you for squeeze pages in order to build an email list. And of course it depends as you said from the niche.

You can rank high in keywords with your blog particularly if it's dofollow and listed in directories.

You can always create a blog and add in an opt in form for your readers so you can build your list at the same time!

Do Both. Put a squeeze page on the root of your site for example www.yoursite.com.

Then put a blog on a directory example www.yoursite.com/blog. This is easy to do with Wordpress.

Send all traffic to your squeeze page and use your blog to deliver your content. You should also put a link to your squeeze page on your blog or even a sign up form on every page.

Use these together to build your online presence and promote your products or affiliate products.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.
