How to optimise an article?

Can someone tell me how to optimize an ezine article? I am already creating backlinks to the article

Where to put the keywords and how much (if we ever need to have a certain KW density now?)

your kw phrase roughly once every 100 words, and in title

1st time in 1st paragraph, and in summary - that's what google will display as results, so prove relevancy

What works for me is using the keyword you're trying to optimize in the title of the article and at least once in the body of the article. Even more important than keyword density is keeping your content very tightly focused around the topic of your keyword.

You should always put your keyword in the title. You should also put your keyword in the article body along with related keywords. I think if you just write your article naturally google is smart enough to know what it is about and rank it accordingly.

I always just use my keyword in the title and then dont think about keyword density or anything like that and write a good informative, related article.

The rule I follow (which has given me good results) is this:

Use the keyword phrase as the first words of the title (and repeat the keyword in the title if possible, as long as it's not awkward).

Then insert the keywords twice within the first 2 paragraphs, once every 150 to 200 words in the body, and once in the ending paragraph.

The best way to optimize an article is by using a 1 to 1 1/2% keyword density. Also use synonyms - Google likes this.

Be sure to use it in your title, close to the beginning if possible. First sentence and last sentence are also good.

You said you are backlinking your articles, which is good. Are you backlinking from other articles, and also your Squidoo, Hubs and blogs? This is a good way to push ranking on up.

    Good luck!

Try to have the main keyword in the article title...The summary and sprinkled through the article with a density of 3% or less. Keep on doing this and 1 out of 5 will hit the engines.

    Hi,

Interesting question with certenly unclear response.
According to my experiance for maximum exposure and links, i am using up to three keywords for each article and i'm using those keywords to write around 10 articles, the main keyword shoud be in the title, i am trying to place it in the first sentence up to the fifth word, i am trying to keep around 3% keyword density and finally i'm ending the article with the main keyword in the last sentence, i've tried other ways to optimize my articles but it seems that this is one of the best way to get fast results.

    was a pleasure
