Dear Warriors,

Mine is a tutoring website. On facebook I want to find college students so that I can advertise my services to them. Facebook gives a add friend list but most of them are not college students. How can I find correct students and add them as friends. Or is it advisable to start a new Facebook group relating my subject so that students will join my group. If I start a group how can I get the group in front of relevant students. Will the group get automatically advertised. I read somewhere that managing a group is difficult. Or in other words how can I find potential students.

Join groups and like pages where students hang out on Facebook. Start with where you went to school and like their page. Post helpful comments in a non-selly way.

Btw, it's okay to add friends to your Facebook fan page to get you started. It doesn't matter if they're students or not because chances are they have friends who are students.
