Hopefully this will get overturned or repealed like it did recently in California, but if you're an affiliate in PA you might want to start scrambling ...

Mr. Christmas to all the affiliates in PA!

The deadline for online merchants to start collecting sales tax is February 2012.

If PA didn't expect online retailers to start collecting until next year, only a bonehead would issue that press release now. They could have waited.

Hmmm...a play to cut down on the time to drive a similar deal as CA with Amazon? They didn't even put up a new law, just redefined their existing law. That should cut out a lot of that old voting and taxpayer nonsense. Gees!
