Hey all,
I am wondering what niche you would prefer for a plr product. IF you were gonna buy one, would you want IM niche, Natural health, sports, online gaming, etc.?

There are many topics that are hot for PLR sellers. Think "health, wealth, and relationships." It also helps to look over the WSO section at all the PLR offers. The hot ones will have lots of comments, and recurring themes that you notice are usually winners as well.

There are so many it's not funny and every person will give you a different answer. As Kecia said - health, wealth and relationships - are always in high demand so that's probably the place to start.

If you have, or are planning to have, a PLR website then I suggest putting an optin box on your site with an option for visitors to leave a topic request. You will get so many different topic requests when you do that, many topics that you would never have considered yourself.

I would look for the same things I do when I write the content: niches that haven't been covered much. However, since most PLR cover well-known areas (and since I am a professional writer) I often just make my own content.

I'm not a PLR person either. For the value, it's just better to pay for unique articles, IMO.

If you think that you can re-write it a little in your own style in order to make it your own, then I don't think that it matters too much what you buy, as long as you can re-cover it (create or have created a new cover design). It goes without saying, of course, that there must be a market for your product.

If you are going into the PLR supply business then Sheryl's suggestion will be of benefit:-

Going a bit off topic, PLR software is probably the best seller if you can tailor it to your needs, but unless you are a programmer, or can find a good one to suit your budget, PLR software is a non-starter.

      Just my immediate thoughts,

      Jeff.

Avoid IM niche, only if you're willing to sell them in original format. Because most people who're working in IM niche, search the product with adding "Free".

I disagree, my bestselling PLR are those in the IM niche. Not all IMers are looking for free, a good Internet Marketer recognizes the importance of good quality over free!

She would know the importance of having good quality content on her website. Even when rewriting PLR, it is much easier to rewrite a good quality article than to rewrite a cheap and nasty, bad quality article. Much of the free PLR is terrible quality and an Internet Marketer would probably be better writing their own article from scratch than to try and make sense out of a very poor article.

I'm sure if you ask Internet Marketers what their preference would be you would find the majority would rather pay more for better quality than to get free PLR and find that it's of too poor quality to bother using it.

I'm not saying that all free PLR is bad quality, there are many great PLR writers that will offer some articles free and they are of good quality. It is when you get the 10,000 PLR articles for free - those sort of deals you will find aren't worth the space they take up on your computer.

    Just my 2 cents worth

I would buy PLR in any niche that I'm working in, however I don't really buy PLR articles any more - only reports, ebooks etc.

The only 'article' type PLR that I would buy is product reviews that are at least 800 words in length. Amazon reviews, Clickbank reviews etc.

I learned my lesson pretty early on not to even bother looking for free PLR. You get what you pay for. Even if they were decent quality, I would know that they would have already gone viral across the internet. Just not something I'd be interested in.

Look at the niche that you are in and buy those PLR...you can work on them since you have knowledge in that niche...
