I agree. And that usually comes from people with little experience and time in IM. If you've been around long enough to actually try anything yourself, you'll see that there's no magic formula to get rich overnight. It's all about building it up and tweaking your methods, etc. It definitely can happen, but not overnight.

We live in the microwave generation. It's an instant society. Everything is NOW NOW NOW. No one has patience anymore. Instant gratification with no work is what everyone seems to crave these days. It's why all those fake guitar video games got popular. You could play an instrument with no work at all.

But, hey who cares. More money for us. Right?

That's true. If we had any way to know the statistics, I bet there's an INSANE turnover ratio of people that jump into IM, hope to strike it rich immediately, fail, and quit IM just as quickly as they started.

Those types of people are "Sidewalkers" as explained in the book "The Millionaire Fastlane" by MJ Demarco and they will remain that way unless there is a major shift in their mindset. I highly recommend that book by the way!

There is no push button cash system. IM is hard work, people who say otherwise have not been successful with it. I can guarantee that. Yes, IM is simple. The concept of making money online is that of an easy one BUT you must still put in alot of hard work!

The IM field would be a better place if the ridiculous offers from esellers claiming people can make $1000 in 5 minutes stops. Where do you think newbies get the idea of making tons of cash with little to no effort? It comes from the sales pitches made by the self proclaimed gurus...

There's no doubt about that, and I'm not disagreeing with that for a second.

People always want something immediate. It's a marketer's job to feed people what they want. IMers do this with these outrageous claims. By playing to these desires, they are perpetuating the notion that millions are just a click and a day away.
