Hi, I am new to this forum and Internet Marketing and trying and wanted to get some opinions. I am trying to build my first blog, but doing research on different names, I am a little stuck on what I should be focused on - when picking a domain name, so it ranks higher. I was checking Google External Key Word Search and I have a Market Niche Finder software too. And it gives you the numbers for the total search count for the particular phrase, e.g. "make money online", and gives you the total number of pages indexed with that phrase, as well, as the strength of competition and commercial index. I see different advice - pick a number with at least 400 searches per month, and below 10,000 pages and that commercial intent should be over 50% and obviously low strength of competition... What do other people focus on when looking for good keywords? Doing search, a lot of my keywords are also long-tailed. Is it ok to have them in the domain name - about 4-5 words, some hyphenated, or should I try to go may be with not a primary, but other secondary keywords I pick for my blog? Thanks! |
