Clickbank ordering buttons don't work, did you try?

I just tried to order a product from Clickbank, but the order buttons lead to a dead page. Anyone tried theirs? Their servers may be down...

  Mine work fine. It's possible the product you are trying to order is no longer available at CB - and therefore you are going to a dead page. The owner might have moved to another service and forgotten to change the order page or has abandoned the project.

I don't know if this is the problem, but something like this cropped up a few years ago.

Check out a file on your computer (there are usually three instances of it in different system foilders, so make sure you use the advanced search function and check the system folders box) called hosts.

Some anti-spyware programs put the IP address of sites they don't want you to visit in the hosts file - it is checked by your browser before any page can open.

I think it was Spybot S&D (but might be wrong) that decided Clickbank was an unsuitable place for people to visit and so added their IP to the hosts file.

If this is what has happened to you, the only solution, as far as I know, is to edit the hosts file to remove the line that blocks Clickbank, and to uninstall the program that put them there.

Yes, I got it this time and the ClickBank order links appear to be working fine from here.

It does sound like a problem that stems from your own computer (or perhaps your ISP).
