Add-on domains: any different in Google's eyes?

I tend to mostly use reseller accounts with WHM, and set up every domain on it's own CPanel. However, I am looking at adding another hosting co. to the mix for a new project
and am wondering how add-on domains are looked at from an SEO perspective?

Are they simply considered a redirect or a true top level domain?

Thanks!

Melody

I have several sites hosted as addon domains under one account and each site ranks in the top 10 of google for my main keywords. So going from that experience, I think google looks at them as a top level domain hosted on the same IP.

Same here. I don't think there's any notice of it at all other then the issue of hosting on the same IP address.

Thanks to all!! I figured that was correct - but it's nice to get confirmation from folks that have the real experience to back up the theory!
