I have a community type site with a twist, in a nutshell. I want to promote it on some social sites and I'd like to start with MySpace and then do some others. I'm still a newbie at this, so please bear with me and suggest something if you can.
On MySpace, if I gather a lot of friends, talk up this community site, send out bulletins, ect, would that be in violation of the rules (using it as commerical use)? They say you have to get "permission" for commercial use, but do a lot of people usually do that? Their contact system seems sort of confusing for even contacting admin, without an option for this particular matter, from what I've seen. Or, could I open a second account and do it without endangering the first account? What would be the best strategy (I'd at least want to avoid getting thrown off and not being able to get back on). Please advise; thanks! |

As long as you don't outright spam other members you should be safe. Do it socially. Build trust by being helpful.
