I have a ticket affiliate website which sells concert and sports tickets. This website is on google top 5 results and jumping from 3 through 5th positions on first page from the past 5 months. Also has lot of backlinks. However I am unable to make a single sale from this even though its on first page top 5. The searches are only about 200 exact searches per month, may be this is the reason? THis is a simple website with 2 articles and some text links. Any suggestions on how to make some sales through this website or how to improve it. buyeventtickets.org is the website and at present its in first page 3rd position on google for buy event tickets keyword. I see some biggie ticket websites as competitors and this website is ranking with them in the top position and constantly holding on for more than 5 months though it has almost nothing in terms of content to boast of.

    How many visitors does your site get? It seems to me you are competing for a keyword that almost no-one uses to search with. If no-one is using your keyword, you will get very little traffic.

    You need to work out if you can beat the other sites to the no1 spot for that keyword and get those 200 visitors a month. If not, you need to find some more popular keywords.
