What really got me thinking was the link and yes, the link did have my email address inside it but it was a cloaked link, the actual link was: AWeber Reset Customer Password

This got me worried then I decided to use incorrect details to test out their page and when I submitted it expecting an error message. I got a success message.

I even went into aweber and searched "flsa" in their knowledge base but found nothing

So, I think this is a spam/scam email and they maybe out there trying to steal your logins, I'm emailing Aweber now to confirm this but until I get a reply, it's best to stay safe if you don't give them your aweber login details.

just a heads up ^^

there's another post by a warrior named garyv who talks about this spam/scam. check out his thread... he advises you that if there's a problem, logging into aweber will give you that information.

The domain in the link "awebercomplaints.com" should have been another giveaway I think. If there was a problem with your account, you would have been taken to a page on the main aweber domain name. As a matter of fact, maybe the domain is illegal (trademark infringement?) and you can report it...

It sounds like a phishing attempt to me. Aweber should be able to confirm that at their support email.

Definitely a phishing attempt. You'd dlog into your Aweber account, and then the scam artist would have access to your list, and would either steal it or send out a broadcast with his/her own affiliate links.

I have had email broadcasts go out on two occassions that I did not send. Each time I changed my password. The second time, I made my password like 12 charachters and it contained letters, numbers, and symbols.

That's what I'd recommend you do no matter if you're hacked or not. It's never a good idea to use any actual words in your password.
