How To Get Rid of Non-responsive Mailing List Subscribers?

What is the best way to delete Unresponsive Subscribers?

They didn't open any of my emails , no matter what my header was or how often I emailed them. Also they never reply to any type of emails including insane offers. I'm using tracking links to monitor that.

I was thinking of sending a WARNING email to all of my subscribers to confirm that they received that email and reply back so that I can clearly know DEAD people on my list.

Any suggestions?

Depends upon why you want to clean your list and what niche
    you are in.

In the IM space, your subscribers are probably on so many
other lists, that only a small fraction of them see any given
    email that you send out.

You could send out an email asking them to opt in to a new
fresh list, but first I'd focus on why they are not responding.
If you no longer have their attention you need to figure out
why that is and fix that before you do anything else.

I'd look closely at the niche itself. In some niches, people
are more skeptical and jaded than in others.

Why are you pruning your list?

    Hi,

Dead/unresponsive email addresses will be on all our lists - fact of life and all that.

Just a suggestion - why not leave them on there - you never know when a subscriber currently inactive might spring back in to life and get active again.

    Best,

    Andy.

@Willie Crawford, thanks for the advice.
Actually they are on my micro jobs site where some of them have posted services and never reply to orders from members, messages or any type of communications through the site ?

i.e. Some of them are DEAD members.

Are you using single optin or double optin?

I think you should just focus on building the list even more. What you don't know is that even marketers with hundreds of thousands of subscribers only get a small percentage to open their emails but because they have so much on their list, that small percentage works out to be a ton which they still make a lot of money from.

Your initial reaction to send a warning (but polite) email is the correct one. More than likely, your email is going straight to the spam folder.

I forgot to mention that it can be as a result of the auto responder service that you are using. I was using a service and no matter how I worded my messages they ended up going to the spam folder for no reason at all.

So check which service you are using and make sure you preview you messages before you send them out to your list to make sure its not going to the spam folder.

Another this is, you need to make sure that they know who the messages are coming from. That's why it is very important that you introduce yourself from the beginning to your list. I have been getting a lot of messages from "Support" as the sender which I don't even bother to open.

      Hope that helps

Keep in mind that although you might know when someone responds to an offer via a tracking link, you never know for sure whether they opened an email. The stats for opened emails is not 100% accurate. My main email application, for example, is set to view all emails as text only and manually download images (the main way that 'opens' are tracked).

Thank you guys for all the advice. I have sent my members a polite email as suggested by @nm5419.

I started to get replies to the email saying that " We Are LIVE & We READ your emails "

Day 1. Tell all your subscribers you're about to release something really awesome in two weeks.

Day 8. Tell them you've got something really awesome for them next week, and to go sign up for this new list you created if they want it.

Day 12. Tell them there are only three days left before you give that list something awesome, and they'd better go join it.

Day 14. Tell them your new list gets this awesome thing TOMORROW, so they'd better go sign up for your new list.

Day 15. Send the awesome thing out to the new list, then mail the old list and tell them they missed the awesome thing but you'll give them one last chance to join the new list.

Day 16. Delete the old list. They've had two weeks and five warnings, so they're not listening to you anyway.
