Hi

I have an interesting website on a good nich(very good potential), but i cant get many users.
Posting on forums is hard since you are easily banned for spam or advertising.

How to advertise for my website?

Perhaps if you show us the site we could advise you?

What are you using for traffic methods? Social Bookmarking? Creating a YouTube video? What about writing some short articles? Squidoo Lens?
If we knew more about your site, it would be easier to make suggestions.

Having a website in a good niche is only part of the equation. You need to be driving traffic to your website in order to see anything happen.

Perhaps you should look around on the forum for ways to drive traffic to your site. There is plenty of great advise on this forum that will point you in the right direction.

I mainly posted on many forum, blogs, made some videos on youtube and dailymotion, but didnt get that user, and almost no visitor.
In order to get visitor using these way, forum and blog you need to spam, but spamming is forbiden.
I'am already first in google search result.

Sorry for my bad english(my website use english as language but i used a good english when i made it).

How did you write these posts? Were they just purely advertising your site, or were the posts providing meaningful and useful input to whatever topic the blog/forums were discussing? The key to getting people to your site is to include it in a relevant way to the discussed topic - such as referring people to it for more information, or if it answers a question.

If you're being banned for spamming, its more than likely you're using the wrong approach to forum promotion.

It would help a lot if you could give us a link to your site (either that, or the search string in google that lands it as the first link, since you can't post links yet either).

      Yes, but is it profitable?

My website has nothing to sell(but it could), i'am just aiming at getting some money with the generated clicks and views.

    You mean facebook?

Posting on Facebook is just as posting on a forum, requesting a lot of friends just gonna get you banned.

Posting on forum and asking people to visit is totally wrong...you need to advice and interacts with the people within the forum and they will visit your links in your sig if they like it...this form of marketing will bring in targeted traffic but it do takes some time to see results...

Ditto above. It's also worth mentioning that posting on forums is only one of many ways to attract traffic on the internet. I suggest doing some research about traffic generation methods, using social media, creating videos, etc. Avoid buying "systems" or "methods" that promise to teach you these things, and simply use Google to find the information instead. You can learn these things for free, because the information is widely available on the net.

I also am having trouble directing people to my site. I'm constantly engaging in threads on a forum, I have my blog and my squeeze page with a free report offered and I've just started doing Ezine articles.(still early with the Ezine, hope it pays of)

So, I'm wondering if there's something different I need to be doing when I converse online. Am I suppose to openly say "please click on my link" or should I just keep trusting that eventually the right people will like my stuff and join my list.

Looks like you are obsessed about it and you are not patient enough. That will make you think it's not working. Free traffic does not always come that way except you have a solid presence on social media and forums. Just respect forum regulations, be an active participant posting meaningful contents and you will see the magic if your signature. As a newbie, if you are not patient with free traffic rythm, go in for PPC

I'm like helisell above... show the site you are talking about.

Asking this question without being able to see the site is akin to a father asking why someone won't ask his daughter out on a date - she has a good personality.

ok, I'm willing to share my sites if that will help me get better advice.

Fitnessaces.com, is my opt-in page that offers a free report on consistent exercise motivation. It also subscribes them to my weekly newsletter email list. I haven't added that detail on the page. Would it help if I do?

fitness-aces.blogspot.com, this is my blog. I haven't figured how to put a subscription box on it yet. I was having trouble finding that option. I'm using Blogger.com

So, please, any advice would be appreciated.

        Thank you
