Internet Marketing Newsletter - How Should I Go About Doing This?

Well I read another internet marketing tutorial, and I've decided I've found what I want to stick to, and make my first profits with. I understand this method will take alot of time to get into, but I believe it is a solid, LONG-TERM business, rather than a quick cash method.
Anyway, I'm trying to figure out how to go about making an internet marketing newsletter. Subscribing will of course be completely free, and I will earn my money by sending out 1 promotional e-mail every 5 high quality informational e-mails. I will also allow people to advertise in my newsletter for $50 / 5,000 subscribers for example. I've been told to set up a squeeze page?
