any way to stop new orders on fiverr?

So I have way more fiverr orders than I can handle right now and if I get any more, I probably blow the deadline. Is there any way I can stop more people from ordering from me?

Also, while we're at it, Fiverr's whole "anybody can dump work on you at any time without asking" system is really stupid.

I'm not sure, but it sounds like you have a lot of work.

Just extend your expected delivery time.

I have never tried but you may suspend your gig when you got enough order. Reactivate whenever you want.

Yep. Go into edit your gig and suspend it. This will take it off of the fiverr search and no more orders will come in.

You can just activate it again when you're ready.

I think you should be able to suspend the gig..and reopen it when you are ready for more orders..

You suspend the gig or all the gigs and then active it again.

If you suspend and do not change anything from the gig the statistics continues.

This was one of the first questions I asked their support as well. You'd think simple stuff like this would be in their FAQ. And from this post, sounds like it's still not in the FAQ 2 months later.

Fiverr should have a feature where people are able to temporarily stop accepting new orders without having to suspend the gig. When you suspend the gig, it becomes invisible. But you don't want that to happen. You want people to know how busy you are with loads of orders.

Secondly, by suspending the gig, some of your buyers will be concerned whether their orders will be completed or not. So, it leaves a kind of negative impression on buyers and potential buyers.

How nice would it be if there is a feature to stop accepting new orders while the gig is still visible in the main marketplace. People who are interested in the gig can click on a notification button which will immediately notify them through PM whenever the gig owner is accepting new orders again. Sounds like a good feature, isn't it?

You can either suspend your gig or increase the delivery time.
If you suspend your gig, you will not get orders anymore till you reactivate it. Just make sure you reactivate when you are done and want order to start coming in again.
If you increase your delivery time, you will have more to get the job done.
Go for whichever one that suits you best.
