Experienced web designers:help with pricing and building a social media network
I am looking to build a social networking site with functionality best described as a cross between Yelp and Amazon.
Key features include:
Home page:
-Newly added
-Recommendations
These will be user specific and generated based on a user's most recent visit to the site
- Tag map
This will link to a sort of site map that lists all categories profiled on the site.
- A search bar
This allows users to search RetaleMe in its entirety
- A log-in/register option
Pages:
Individual user pages where users can receive notifications about previous posts on content pages and can keep a tag lists of content pages they are following and users they are following.
Content pages.
Set up similar to Amazon listings with information at the top (i.e where the book would be) over all starred rating, most valuable comments, ability to sort contents based on their rating or view all. Ability to rank comments for their usefulness.
Ability to comment and reply to comments.
