Hello Warriors - Anyone know why this might be happening? When I record a screen capture video with audio, the playback is crystal clear, except that it cuts out my voice... kinda like a skipping to the point where you miss short parts of what I am saying. I tried with Camstudio first and thought it was that software, then moved on to Camtasia 3. Maybe my laptop? I tried on my desktop too and same thing. Iv'e tried with a high quality mic as well. No luck. Thanks in advance! Donna |

Does it do this in the camtasia editor? Or only after you export it? If it happens after exporting then it's probably the export settings. But if it happens in the editor, then it seems you have another problem. Since it happened in Camstudio too, its probably not the software itself. However, it could possibly be a capture setting. Have you tried switching the audio capture mode? (ie. to PCM, or MPEG, etc) If you've tested some different capture settings, then it could be something else conflicting during the capture. For example if you are trying to capture media, or if there is another media player open during the capture. |
