Is This A Fair Price For A Static Banner?

I am not even sure if Im posting this in the right place, but is $25 a fair price to pay for a static banner that is 450 X 190?

The only reason I ask is because I have a banner designed who i like and have been using, but I want to see If im overpaying for stuff.

Let me know if that sounds reasonable, and Im sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.

Sounds expensive, but depends on how good your designer is. There are a lot of good banner designers on Fiverr.

How can anyone else answer this question for you?

Only you can decide if a price is worth paying for a product or service, nobody else can really decide for you one way or the other.

If you want to use someone who designs superb banners and headers for $25 contact Warrior Member Diana Heuser...

I bought a couple of banners for a fiver each on Fiverr and hate them.

There are a couple of guys on the forum here who'd do a set of six banners for between $47 and $70. I haven't used them yet but the artwork they show looks fabulous.

Are you happy with your banner? Will it bring lots of money?
If not, then it's expensive IMHO.

I don't know if it will bring alot of money, but it should help to drive traffic that's for sure.

Im just looking to see if this is an average price for a banner of this size.

Honestly, it really depends on the the detail of the design work.

And it depends on where the designer lives.

Designers in lets say India or China or the Philippines, or some Asian countries, would love to have 25.00 for a days worth of pay......

A designer in the UK or in the US would probably ask anywhere from 15 - 50 for a banner. If its detailed it would be the higher range.

I am an artist/graphic designer, so, I put my heart into my work, and lots of attention to detail. Hence my prices would be higher but $25.00 for a banner of that size seems fine.

But if its just images, and text, that look to have been slapped on it, then yep its on the low side.........

One great thing for you to do, is to just pay for the largest banner you can get for the price, then ask for it in many other popoular small sizes, as a package deal, and the pricing would be much better, at least for the amount of graphics you get. Because once the intitial design is made, it only has to be tweaked here and there to make it various other smaller sizes.

Its not super fast and easy, but much easier for sure in my opinion........

I hope that all made sense........

    My normal rate for a 468 x 60 static banner is $25, so I don't think you're overpaying.

Sometimes if I have extra time on my hands, I'll do a "special" and charge only $10 but this is usually when I have several hours worth of free time.

Well that's a neat suggestion for someone who needs several sizes of a product.

I'll add it to my 'bargaining' tool chest.

      Thanks for the advice,
      Jeff.

Yep, I may not be liked for that suggestion......... but as a designer myself, I know how how it works....

Going from larger to smaller is easier, at least to me........

An doing a package deal is the best way to go, the intial design process, is really where the time and cost ends up..........

The rest is tweaking.... it's not "one click fast and simple", but much easier to do, once the initial design is made.....

You're not overpaying provided it is a well designed banner. Some of my company's staff members design these banners and their prices are above $25.00. Please note that their work is top notch and gets results for our clients. There is a no way to answer fully whether this is a good price. You will need to determine this for yourself. Best wishes to you.

It sounds reasonable to me as long as they are not edit from some kind of templates...

It definitely depends on the designer. For the average designer those rates aren't very affordable however if the designer does a good job bringing attention and hence traffic, then yes, indeed it is worth it to purchase.

Without seeing what the banner looks like in terms of quality, I cannot say if $25 is either cheap or expensive.
