Having see the changes that have been made on YouTube of late in terms of design, etc., how do you this this will affect your video marketing ?

So far the new designs that have been implemented this year has not done anything to my video marketing. I do see an increase in traffic but I think that has more to do with me constantly uploading more videos.

I have read another thread that talks about the possibility of a new youtube design that may or may not be implemented (I am not qualified to make that call).

I don't know how long youtube will keep this demo link up.

My videos uploaded haven't seen a dip in traffic. I think Youtube has reached that mass mainstream level of acceptance. People may not particularly care for the change but they know its THE place to go for vids.

New design looks quite interesting..Sure it will give us a hike in traffic, the only thing we should do is, keep updating the keywords, tags, descriptions for our videos regularly

I hope the design changes won't affect links in the video description as well. I still recall when people would point to the right and say in the video, "click the link on the right". When Youtube changed the design, they added ads/other videos on the right..So that's where the click ended

I think the changes are very positive, especially the general layout, to both the user and the subscribers, internally am not so sure but still digesting in the changes..

I think the changes are more cosmetic than anything else so I don't expect to see my videos being affected. As long as they don't change the position of the details and links like they did before, I am happy. That change meant that a load of my videos had call to action arrows at the end pointing in the wrong direction, lol.

Funnily enough, you still come accross the occasional video which has been forgotten and still mentions that the link can be found in the upper right hand side.

I like the changes as well, I don't think it will affect traffic at all. I especially like their new Adsense program. I think they're doing some cool things.

The home page is okay but if you look at the changes they have made to channels, you will hate it. Cosmetically, they look better. However, there's no place to read or submit comments. There's no place to submit bulletin posts. And your profile - a great place to put links - aren't visible at all either. For a long time YouTube was trying to be a social networking site; now it seems they have taken a step backwards in that department. There were a lot of negative comments on YouTube's blog page when the changes took effect. Now, YouTube Analytics is a very nice upgrade.

It's like Facebook, if it's not broke don't fix it. Users get very comfortable with what they use all the time and get very frustrated and vocal with change, they adapt but not willingly usually.
