Good Service to offer? Good for Warrior Forum?

Howdy,

Just want to know , if this service would be viable for the Warrior Forum Ad's section. I know how to code and create iPhone & Android Apps. I was thinking I could create an Add , selling my services as a Dev. I expect it would be a bit pricey , but that comes with nature of the Job and it takes me a lot of time to code them and update them.

How many of you would be interested in this service?

As I said , I expect for a game. It would come in at: $1,500 or for something easier to code around $600.

Anyone got any thoughts on this? I think it's the next new market , plus you can make the money back within no time.

Thanks

Your approach is typical of may programmers who start
with a service or product and then look for a market for
    it.

I'd suggest that you reverse that approach and look for
a group of people with a problem that your product or
    service can solve.

When you've found a large enough group of people with
money to spend... ask them what functions and benefits
    they would look for.

    Make that product.

      There is a market...

Take Zynga , Angry Birds. Guess who much they got floated on the US Stock market for?

      Zynga 12Bn

      Angry Birds 6Bn

I know these are example cases , but Mobile Tech is the new thing. Everyone is getting on it , I think it's foolish to not even consider this.

Mobile Marketing is the new IM...

But my point is... The end user is not your target
        market.

That's why I recommend you actually research the
market that YOU intend to sell to.

Great advice . I am sure there are people who want apps created for them .Maybe not that many on the warrior forum but am sure there would be a few. it may not be a game like you have with angry birds .It might be anything . Anything you can create that would be useful to the group of people you are serving

Give it a shot. I can't imagine that there's not some IMers that have thought about using a mobile app in their methods.

Not sure , if most of the WF would pay the prices. It take me a long time code all the Aps doing the GUI , a big App would take me around two months.

      Thanks

You can do a little research about what people are actually buying these days and target those group. For example, if you are into Programming and a lot of people are looking for some good and affordable programming services you can actually create a service for that particular group of people.

But, here is the honest thing, the following are the most in demand kind of services. I Don't have to hide it, it's plane obvious really.

    1. SEO
    2. Social Media Marketing
    3. Search Engine Marketing
    4. Google Products Services / Google Places, Gooogle Adwords, API, and much much more..

Just try to come up with a unique service that will cater those who are in actual need of such services..

    Good luck

P.S. I can really relate since it took me almost 2 weeks to research on what should I do to cater my target market. But You know what, it was just a matter of CONSISTENCY!
