Any way to offer discounts through affiliate link??

I seem to remember a while back people where offering discounts to customers when they bought through their affiliate link, but lately no one seems to be doing that?

I always wondered whether or not they were simply giving cashback by Paypal or had a system set up which automatically gave a discount??

Would love to know how to do this if it's possible and somebody knows the way.

What I've seen is the use of a coupon code, that automatically reduces the price. When you send them an email, include the aff. link and the coupon code. No PayPal / refunds to mess with!

hhhmmmm very interesting, this looks like agood idea for a simple php script, would anybody be interested in a script that would present the product at a lower price if an affiliate link was used? I might give it away to forum members if enough people want it to make it owrth the time and hassle

That sounds perfect! We would be paying out of our commissions sure but the increase in conversions would surely be worth it?

No matter which review made them want to purchase the most, a nice solid discount would ensure they came back to your link right?
