Seeking Amazon advice for music site

Hi everyone.

Another newbie here, out of his depth and seeking help. I've just built my first site, which has the url newsongs2012 and is a dot info (I'm a new forum member, so I can't post live links yet).

I imagine I've made all the usual mistakes, that newcomers make. It's basically just a site with lots of genre-based music pages, radio stations, rss feeds, podcasts, news, video footage, etc. The only affiliate I am currently using is Amazon.

It's hardly going to set the world on fire, but I'm hoping that some visitors will get something out of it, particularly those with quite specific musical tastes (eg. African music or Dubstep).

Any advice appreciated, and any insults taken on the chin!

I currently have a bounce rate of 60%, which isn't a promising start. Is this normal? (only about 35 uniques a day at the moment, anyway, although it seems to be rising fairly quickly, each day, with the new year approaching).

Some pages have quite a few widgets. My internet connection isn't great and I would be grateful if people could tell me if they feel that pages are taking too long to download.

I'm not especially happy with the layout, or look, but I only know how to use Weebly and this seemed the most attractive template they had. I guess if the Amazon sales fall flat, I can convert it to adsense, although that will involve a migration to Wordpress, or similar, as Weebly seem to think that a 50/50 split in adsense revenue is fair and non-negotiable!

Thanks, anyway, to those of you who can find time to take a quick look.

Also, an anyone recommend a good site where I can find live 24/7 music video streaming, with players that I can embed for specific genres. I feel that the site needs more video content.

    Thanks
