Whois: removing my name?

I just noticed that when I type my name into google, one the first page it shows a whois that displays the domains I own. I do not like that at all, as I do not want people typing my name to see that at all. Is there anyway that I can somehow make that not appear, or make sure that doesnt show up when I google my name??

Any help is much appreciated

Go to your domain registrar and login to your account.

Upgrade your domains to include Whois Privacy.

You have to renew it also when you renew your domains.

You may want to substitute your name for your business name or a partner in your business name(free alternative).

No. Create a name for your business, and put your business' name in the form.

Depends where you live... may not be that simple.

I think (could be wrong) in the US you can just 'create a business name and start using it', but here in Australia for instance you have to register it first (costs about $100 or so - probably more now) and will take a couple of days to sort out.

In my town, it only costs $25 to register a sole proprietorship.

And if I am selling retail products, I must get a Tax ID Number.

Personally don't really cared about at first as well. But then I got calls incoming from over seas! My phone numbers was being shared in some of the whois data..

So I immediately did some changes to some of my websites and the calls stopped.
