I am a blogger and I have an uncleared doubt always in my mind. Which is most efficient in order to get proper rankings and ratings from Search engines: Getting Text Links or Publishing Blogpost from a website?? Which has more advantage and have more potential. Please advise me guys which one is better in your view?

The better is blog post, because your links appear in text that is relevant to what you do. Google can understand the difference between a link somewhere in a site, and a link from content (I mean the link from content will give you more juice as this text actually tells google what is your site about)

Both. You need a healthy mixture of different types of links in your backlinking profile.

A relevant contextual link in a quality blog post does indeed carry more weight (depending on the site), but if those are the only types of links you have they will hardly look like natural links.

@ Nikolas, I agree but blogpost will be moved out of the homepage after few days as the website will be updated frequently. Hence, it will have PR link juice until it stays in homepage and we cannot expect the same high PR in the sub pages. But text links will always stays in homepage and the link juice will be more consistent than blogpost. Correct me if I am wrong.

To be honest, on every web site I got reviews/blog posts from serious blogs, the pagerank got high anyway. Pagerank is not that important though, you should better look after quality links that lead to better rankings.

To see the proof of what I am saying check the pagerank of the sites in the first page. You can see even PR0-1 pages for competitive keywords.
