What a Newbie think when he joins WF?

Hello all,

As i have seen that lots of newbie joins WF nowadays.... m also a newbie but seriously why i am telling you that it is also happened with me...

When i have joined i have the same thinking that i heard that WF's signature link indexed too fast... you can make a WSO here and sell it so that you can get business from here... ya m agree that here is a section for selling our services but what actually newbie joins here so that he can market his website or service only.

Actually after spending time here i realized that its not only for WSO's or for marketing your websites.... As i have seen lots of newbie joins and put their website's links in their signature... just joined and instantly make a thread like..."Hello new here...""" Then get some comments and also do comments and after sometimes what happen ADMIN deleted that thread... simply because it is unusual and has no worth..

Well the thing i want to share is that if you are new here please don't make a unusual thread firstly... Just try to learn from here.. Here in this forum a lot knowledge is coming every minute.. i sometimes think 24 hours also less for me... but if you are a newbie and wants to make a good dealings here then try to make some useful and knowledgeable post here... or you can also make a thread if you have any query but not misleading one.

If i am wrong then sorry from my side but what i felt i just wrote here....

Rephrase for those who don't have the patience to read the OP:

"I joined with the thought that I could get my signature indexed quickly and run WSOs. Now I realise there is a lot more to this place than that, but I see a lot of newbies who get banned because that's all they care about. I advise those newbies to slow down and take a look around first, instead of starting a crap thread that just gets deleted anyway."

I approve this message and agree entirely.

        ?? No - the opposite.

I was saying thank you to you. It's good to see newcomers to the forum seeing where the true value is and wanting to help others come to the same realisation.

A very good post, and food for thought for all newbies indeed.

Sadly it is true that a lot of newbies come here just to launch their product and just write a post for comments. Yes you can sell your products on here, but please before you do take the time to have a look around and make posts and replies that give value, or ask a question if you don't understand the topic.

There are plenty of warriors who will help you, and not make you feel silly for asking the question in the first place, unless of course it is a very silly question you ask.

Yes actually same one make this thread... and after that he realizes that he has done some mistake in his "Title"... so just i want to tell them make a thread that have a title which shows what actually it is about and also thread's content must be some query related or informative one(only for newbies).

Im also kinda confused at the purpose of this thread....

I'm new here, learned fast how NOT to self-promote regardless of my intentions (which were not to act "spammy") but also think sometimes the admin get a bit overzealous with the thread deletions? Just today, I posted a thread asking for a critique of 3 new Fiverr gigs I just launched last night. I asked for an honest critique....I was NOT selling myself or prompting people to hire me on a gig. I wanted honest feedback on the content and its relevance to the warrior community, to get their honest response.

Well, just came back from lunch and it was deleted. I mean I do understand the rules for self-promotion but cmon...I cant even ask for feedback for new Fiverr gigs I launched?

Well the purpose is clear in my thread that just co-operate with the forum's rules... and i don't know what actually there was in your thread.. but may be that thread violets the forum rule... actually ADMIN only delete the thread if it is unusual or has no worth........

Hi bro, this happens in majority of online forums, it is possible that in a effort to secure their sellers (and interests), they had to employ strict, black and white promotion guidelines (so it wont give rise to double standards).

        just my two cents.

p.s. you could pm me your gigs, and i can review them for you. (im not an SEO expert so i can only comment as a prospect client)

OP, you are absolutely right. Folks would do much better to spend time reading and learning rather than self-promoting. Nothing wrong with marketing here, but new folks should try to learn first and foremost.

To the OP. If I remember correctly when I first joined the Warrior Forum came in here and read for about a year before I start making any posts. To me, it would be helpful to the other members if you talk about what your past experience has been in Internet Marketing and Testing.

Well, I'm still here, maybe I'm a little slow!

As a new member, I registered because I found this forum a few times searching for stuff. WF seems like a very popular and can find some good advice and interesting and unconventional topics.

Everyone self-promotes to some degree, just not cool to be so blatant about it..

Sir as i am telling you i am not trying to point out some one or even i do't want to make enemies here by creating such thread but as what a saw these days that mostly it is happening. People joined here, make threads and after sometime get banned, simply because they hadn't read the rules of forum.... so in my thinking if you are a newbie one then first try to learn from here instead of getting banned or some thing else.....

Here's what I thought when I joined WF: WOW! For the first time, I'm seeing people that think like me. "Hey, let's get out there and make money for ourselves!" instead of just working for jobs 24/7 for the rest of our lives.

People who actually think instead of just react.

People who want to become somebody.

          People who have goals.

And yeah, a great way to make money. ^ ^

Well' I originally joined warrior forum as a way to get information about other products and services I was researching around the net. I then grew to understand
that the forum is the number one site for internet marketers to get together colaborate and to get help on other projects. The advice and lessons I learned
from other members has been indespensible in my business. So I always advise anyone coming to the forum to take advantage of all the site has to offer.

yes there is good stuff in here.

But heck, it is all meaningless and all just jibberish if you do not take action on it.

Im serious about that too. Yes there are some crappy posts in here, that are total BS. but then again the gems and the high quality stuff in here makes up for it.

Take action and use that to your advantage. There I go again with that TAKE ACTION Stuff. It really does work if you do decide to take action. That is the difference between making no money online and money good money online. The more action you take the more results you see.
