Default Want to cut your time answering customer emails???

Then do this (it has really helped me a ton!):

Every time a customer writes you a question, make a simple excel sheet recording the general idea of the question (keep your answers in a Word doc). After awhile, you will see that many questions start to come up again and again. This will let you know what customers are confused about.

Once you have a nice list of questions, make a frequently asked questions page for your site (or just add the FAQ to your sales page) and use the answers that you have saved.

Bingo, the most common questions your customers have are already answered and now they won't bug you with them

Pretty simple stuff I know, but it will save you valuable time if you haven't already implemented it!!

Here's an example of the FAQ on my site (www.thegmatcoach.com/faqs/):

FAQs

Question: Why do you only teach math?

Answer: Through our extensive research, we have found that most students only need help with the math part of the GMAT test. The qualitative part of the GMAT is pretty straightforward. If you graduated from college, you will not have a problem with that part of the test. If you feel that you need a little refresh in the qualitative part, the materials we provide have a self-study review to help you. There is no need for you to spend another $800 for a qualitative review.

Question: Why should I choose you over the “big guys?”

Answer: We have many students who went through the entire course with Kaplan, Veritas, and Manhattan, spent all that money, and still came to us afterward because they didn’t feel like they were prepared. They said it was impersonal and run too much like a cattle farm…. stuff in as many as you can. Instead of going through their programs again (for free), our students choose to spend the extra money to do it right. You will save time, money, and energy with us. If you put in a little effort, our proven system will have you completely prepared to ace the GMAT. We develop personal relationships will all of our students and are driven by their success.

Question: “I’m really slow with math, are you sure you can help me?”

Answer: We assume all our students have forgotten everything from their 9th grade math classes and our program starts from the basics. Although we cover a lot of material in a short amount of time, our proven system allows you to really grasp everything you will need for the GMAT. We always have a tutor you can call if you have any questions and we can schedule some extra tutoring if you feel you need it. All we ask you to do is complete the homework we assign to you, do the practice tests, give us your results, and come to class. It is that easy.

Question: “How can you be half price of the other guys and still offer a better product?”

Answer: Being a small local company who concentrates only on GMAT students in Atlanta, we have very low overhead and can stay ahead of the competition. We aren’t focused on teaching people all over the world and feel that this allows us to better serve our local students. We believe in focusing our energy on the success of our students by providing more personal service and a progressive teaching system, not on fancy marketing or flashy websites.

Question: “Ok, I know this is for me! How much does it cost and where do I sign up?!?!”

Answer: If you would like to reserve your seat, all you have to do is call 770-402-1599. Our sessions cost $997 for over 20+ hours of personal training (that’s less than $50/hr), 5 practice tests, 24/7 email and live chat support, and any extra tutoring you might need. When you call to sign up, we will answer any questions you might have, process your payment, and find out a little about what your target score is on the GMAT exam. Remember though, seating is strictly limited to 6 people. Once we reach 6, and we usually do it very quickly, that is it. We cannot sacrifice our service and allow in any more than that.

Question: “There are a number of people at my work who, like me, want to take the GMAT. Can you teach us at our workplace and can we get any kind of group discount?”

Answer: Yes and yes. We can develop a personalized program and teach at your workplace to make it more convenient for you. We can also discuss group pricing. Just call or send us an email.
