Goals for me before enlisting

I wish you the best in both your decision to join the Army, as well as, your desire to pursue internet marketing. Rest assured, like most things in life, the commonality between the two is that you'll definitely be challenged. On occasion, frustrations will blossom, however, you'll learn more about yourself and what you are capable of doing as a person. I was drawn to internet marketing because I like a challenge, just like many of the other military veterans that frequent this forum. It hasn't been easy. Anyone that says it is, is lying to you. Some have a stroke of luck in accidentally stumbling upon insane profitable niches. For the rest, success typically comes after a great a deal of trial and error.

Some will tell you to never buy an informational product or spend time reading blogs or subscribing to other marketers. The truth is, you have to find a balance between learning and doing. Those who spend their life learning, can waste away many opportunities. On the other side of the coin, those who spend their time taking misdirected action, with little understanding, position themselves to fail. Through both the Army, and IM, I assure you, you'll learn more about yourself and what you're capable of than you will learn just about anywhere.

When you get frustrated--and, there may be times where you will--don't hesitate to stop by WF....

If you think long term (which you seem to be doing) rather than living in the moment, looking for ways you can get rich quick, you will be able to accomplish a lot between the ages of 19 and 22. That's three years!

You should focus on one way of making money online. Develop one business model and get to work! Every day start setting and meeting goals.

The daily tasks that you will perform will not seem like much. That doesn't matter. Think about what you can accomplish in one year rather than what you can accomplish in one day.


Make sure the way you are working to build passive income online is the right way to build passive income online. Look to your competition. Compare and contrast your internet marketing efforts with them. Also, remember to check in with your fellow Warriors for advice when you need it.

I have to agree with Eddie, ensure you focus on just one method of making money online, and work it thouroughly. Also, a little tip is to write down what tasks you need to get done today, and any big tasks you have break down into smaller more manageable chunks, and you'll find that you will stay focused.
