A "new" way to get SMS customers!
Howdy....Don Alm here. I usually "hang out" in the "Mobil or Offline Marketing" areas HOWEVER....I took a glance at some of the threads here and thought I'd toss in something I've recently helped a few people with RE: SMS
Put yourself in the body of someone who has just purchased;
A Pair or Shoes at a Shoestore
A Toy at a Toy Store
A Suit at a Clothing Store
A Book at a Book Store
A Lunch or Dinner at a Restaurant
...in fact...rememeber some of the purchases YOU have made in the last few days or weeks!
How Many of those purchases were greeted with a "Verbal Thank You" from the person taking your money?
Well....probably ALL of your purchases were "Thanked...by the clerk"!
Now....can you remember EVER....receiving a "Card" ... BACK.....from the clerk that said,
"Thanks for your purchase...bring this card back for a Special Discount!"?????
I doubt if ANYONE reading this has ever RECEIVED what I call a "BEE BACK" Card!
Well....some years ago I had a BUNCH of Restaurants and Retailers .... handing their customers, "BEE-BACK" Cards....offering "Incentives" to RETURN and SPEND SOME MORE MONEY! AND.....guess what? They got customers to RETURN!
So....update to Dec 2011 and Guess what? What if the "Bee-Back" Card you were handed from a purchase....had a, "Text Discount to 123456"!
Do YOU think people buying stuff....if handed a Card that offered an "Incentive To Return"....would be of Value to those selling the Goods and Services?
