Default Affiliate Marketers: How to bypass pop-ups on sales pages?

You know the ones, the sales pages with pop-ups looking to grab the opt-in.

My question is, how do you bypass them as an affiliate. I know there are ways to bypass squeeze pages, but how do you get rid of these pesky pop-ups?

I know, follow-ups increases sales. But I want to be the one doing the follow-up, not giving away my subscribers for free.

Any ideas?

I don't think you need to worry about it. Once you send the prospect to the site and the cookie is set, you should get paid if they come back and buy as long as they do it in a reasonable time that is set by the terms of the affiliate program.

There may be some programs that don't operate this way but any honorable one will. If I go through my cookies, I see a bunch for Clickbank stuff. Some of them have been there for months or longer.

You could contact the merchant and ask him to create a separate webpage without any pop-up. Make sure the order links have your affiliate id intact.

For example, you're using Clickbank and your CB id is alewis. If the normal order link goes to http://1.merchantproduct.pay.clickbank.net, the order link from the customized webpage should go to http://1.alewis_merchantproduct.pay.clickbank.net

Hope this helps,
Michael
