What keeps you going?

What keeps that motivation and spirit to keep going? Like making another ebook/product or providing your repetitive service over and over again what keeps you wanting to continue in the business online!

I think for me it's just by sticking to niches that I really enjoy. That way, it comes naturally. Making sales is also a continuous motivator for me.

Before I had any success at all, I kept myself motivated by following other successful IMers, and reminding myself of the nice things I could have in life if I succeed.

Freedom my man! That's pretty much it!

I haven't worked for the "man" now for over 6 years... I'm what you would call Unemployable.

Aside from that, it's being able to be with my kids. We have an outside office that's literally about 100 feet away from my home. I take multiple breaks, walk from my office to my home and spend some quality time with the kids. That's what it's all about for me right now...

Same reason for me. The average human gets 80 years on this planet if they are lucky. 80 years out of the billions of years the earth has existed, and the billions of years the earth will exist for in the future.

Not much is it. This thought reminds me that life is short and you should try your best to do what you love. Once you're gone, none of it will really matter anyway.

While I knew this, I don't think I ever actually thought about it until I read your post. Our time here is but a speck, and if we can do what we love, then at least that speck has a chance at having meaning (does that make sense?)

I do it for the freedom and flexibility. I'm a stay@home mom, and much like others, my kids are everything right now. So if I am able to do something worth while (like help my husband out with finances) AND be there 100% for my kids, then that right there is what keeps me going.

I think for most it all boils down to money and freedom. Anyone can get a 9-5 job but the concept of having no ceiling on that amount of money that you can make is always desirable.

The sense of accomplishment also drives me. There's no better feeling than meeting a goal and the celebrating that comes with it

Being an online entrepreneur is a matter of choice. It should be something that you really wanted to do in your life. Sometimes, what keeps you going is the people around you. The people who believes and pushes you up when you're feeling down.

Knowing that the universe of online opportunities is nearly limitless, so there's no chance of ever getting bored.

It's been years since I actually interviewed for a job, but I'd always make clear that if I got bored working for a company I'd leave. It didn't sit well with some interviewers, of course -- but for those who I could make see that challenge is a thrill, the tactic worked very well.

And it was true... I left places when I became bored. As an entrepreneur, I don't leave anymore. I simply change where I'm headed. Or more precisely, the route to get where I'm headed.

To be totally honest, it's the desire not to be broke. :-) I also like the niche I'm in, like helping people, and the fact I have knowledge and skills to control my financial future that the vast majority of people don't. It's like being in a secret club or something.
