I NEED YOUR Advice! WP/Fan Page Plugin I developed. Juicy Details Here!

Great Day!

I am brand new to the Warrior forum and this is my first post Yippie! (Couldn't Sleep)

I'm new to online marketing but NOT to sales. I've been in sales most of my adult life and I'm really tired of companies not taking care of their most precious resource.. Their customer! So here I come Internet land.

I've been teaching myself web development for the past 3 years mostly fiddling around.... WELL... It's time to bust it loose.

I'm looking to start building an online portfolio and so I'm offering up my services cheap to get some work! Heck I don't even know what a decent developer charges... any way I could use some Warrior advice.

I'm a css master and thesis pro and a Wordpress NINJA...if that gives you a clue.. Oh.. I also do audio, video, and some graphic design.

I'm getting off topic.

I have developed a cool little wordpress plugin for building fanpages. I couldn't find one that would do what I wanted it to do so I built it myself. I need help bringing it to the marketplace.

I want to offer it up as a WSO, but as you can see I don't even have my Warrior profile updated.

My question is this: What are you looking for in a Newbie profile? How does a newbie climb the ranks and gain your trust?

How did you get started?
Any advice on putting together your first WSO?

If you could answer me 1 or all of my questions I'd appreciate the feedback very much. Shaking in my boots a bit!

Thanks Warriors

Phil

    Phil,

By providing value to the forum whether it be in the forms of questions, threads or even answers, will help out greatly.

Another thing is to follow the rules, around here the entire forum is the moderators.

Also check out this thread for more information about things:

Also, in order to post a WSO, you need to be a War Room Member. Altogether it will cost about $80 for both.

You can then decide how to deliver it and accept payments/affiliates. I personally use DigiResults however there is also warrior plus (No relation to the WF, owned by someone different) and JV Zoo.

Welcome to the forum though, based off this one post you look well put together with things lol. Keep it up!

You will need to join the War Room before submitting a WSO (cost $37 one time fee)

Then you should contribute to the Warrior Forum discussions to build reputation and let people get to know you.

Some newbies go ahead and launch a WSO before doing that. Some are successful, some are not. I'm not much interested in newbie profiles, but more interested in the interaction in forum discussions before I "trust" people in the forum.

Check! Thank you so much for replying. I just paid my Warrior subscription. I didn't realize I needed to do that so thanks again.

Skid_Roe. I couldn't agree with you more when you speak of "Providing Value". This is really the foundation of all great businesses.

Have you or anyone every struggled with finding value in your content. For example I'll be talking to some buddies over a beer and some wings and they'll asking some online stuff. Next thing I know I get diarrhea of the mouth and they're taking notes..

I often find myself asking what they saw as the value.

Sometimes I feel like Temperance "Bones" Brennan from the tv series Bones when she is talking passionately in detail about something and everyone is looking around asking.. "What is she talking about?"

You get the blank stare.... I'm excited to rub elbows with peeps that I feel I'll have some common ground with and some support! I'd love to Network with you all.

@arsalIM Your new too so maybe we can help each other out!

Again... Just wanted to say thanks to @sbucciarelfor for the warrior subscription heads up. I read the newbies section first but must have overlooked it.
I've set Sail with my ship which means I'll need to make course adjustments along the way and all your help is great.

    Thanks Again!

    Phil

I buy quite a few WSOs, usually I look to buy from someone who is established in the forum or has a killer product that does not cost very much so my risk is low if it turns out to be a dud. I have noticed a few rising stars that started out just like you, and within 12 months their numbers seem to indicate that they are making very good money. They release a WSO every month on the average.. good solid products and provide good support.

What I have noticed on almost every occasion is that they start out solo but within a short period of time, 2nd or 3rd WSO, they have started doing JVs with some of the better known Warriors.. seems like online as it is offline, relationships and networking have a lot of value.

    Best of luck to you..
