Sorry to be a wet bucket.

But anyone who tells you making money online has nothing to do with:

1. Article Marketing

2. Blogging

3. Classified Advertising

4. Email Marketing

5. Forum Posting

6. Google Adwords

7. Press Releases

8. SEO

9. Social Bookmarking And Media and

10. Video Marketing

and yet does not show you exactly how he or she makes money but only bashes other gurus is OUTRIGHT LYING to you.

Period.

If you don't do any of this, how the heck do you get traffic?

Through some traffic loophole or glitch? Please don't buy me with that.

If you think that you are not getting the desired results, then instead of quitting and giving up, you must check the reasons why you are not performing to your expectations. Some people are clueless on where to start in analyzing what needs to be done and rush out for the alternative methods.

You left out offline marketing for your online offer. Along with PPV, Yahoo advertising to name but a few.

Those are all paid methods which I highly discourage newbies from starting out if they do not have the budget.

Though I made $1700 with Google PPC in my 1st year, I can only cash out $600 due to the click charges. Decide to stop Adwords for good then.

So you mean to say you walked out with a $600 profit? And you decided to stop Adwords?

Hmmm... you still made a profit regardless, and I'm sure you could have increased your conversions somehow...

Anyone who says that something "doesn't work" is someone who either gave up too early or didn't make adjustments as they were doing them.

With all due respect you have missed a massive area for traffic and that is through paid traffic. (outside of adwords)

This can be media buying, PPV, Facebook ads, Content locking etc etc

Just because you haven't mentioned them doesnt mean they don't exist. You can make huge profits in these areas.....its just most people keep qiuet about the methods to avoid competition.

Well, that's one (very close minded) way to look at it. There are plenty of ways to bring in traffic. Just because they may be unheard of to you does not mean that they do not exist. If someone mentions it in passing and doesn't explain in depth to you, it might mean it's a personal method they don't feel like giving out. It could also mean that they are mentally facepalming because you didn't know about it .

Of course, if you are talking about what I think you are talking about (people selling these secret methods), then yes. People lie, and we are aware of that. Thanks so much for sharing...again.

The people who include that type of "it's not a, b, c or d" material in their salesletter(s) are just speaking to their target market.

They know their customers have tried some or all of those techniques before with little to no success. (Mostly because they've put a total of 5 seconds worth of effort into it.)

But the promise of some new "magic bullet" that they've never seen before is just too good to pass up. It caters to their next "fix" and it works beautifully.

You and I and other more experienced marketers may not like it, but this tactic is here to stay.

Most of those methods are not good. However, I suggest all newbies to try out every method, and find the method that actually made them money, and master it. Repeat.

A $600 profit on an $1100 spend sounds like a pretty good ROI to me!!
