URL purchase

There is a url that I have been looking at for a while and I would like to purchase it. Previously someone else was using the domain, but now when I go to the website there are a bunch of GoDaddy banners and on the top of the website it says "NOTICE: This domain name expired on 11.30.2011 and is pending renewal or deletion"

Is there a way that I can purchase this now, or do I need to wait?

    You will need to wait approximately 80 days. When you see "pending delete" in the WHOIS info, it will be in the last 5-day period before it's released to the public.

    You might try watching GoDaddy auctions for the domain. They may have it available for purchase before it is released to the general public. Be a little careful about searching for it. If you start doing a bunch of searches at GoDaddy for the domain it may show up as a premium domain for a higher price.
