INTERNET MARKETING

I have right now HostGator to hsot my site. But I need to reduce my spending.
Are there other hosting companies that are similar to HG but much cheaper?

Cheap does not necessary mean reliable or best. BlueHost is great.

Yes, there are hosting services that are as cheap as $10 per year, but they are not reliable and have much downtime. If you are serious about your business, keep away from them. Another good one is BlueHost, but their price is almost the same as that of HostGator.

  When look on BH I can see that their price is half of what HG is.

Self-hosting is always an option. It requires some real work and security, but once it's done - it's yours to do whatever you want. And that's probably the most awesome part!

  For my needs I thing BH will be as good as HG.
  I have about 5 sites 4 of them are Wordpress. So I thing I will change and keep $5 in my pocket.
  Maybe if you are a big webguru HG is better.

Personally i use HostGator but i have heard that BlueHost its also a good Hosting Company

Your website is your business' lifeline. I wonder why you are treating it like some spare tire. I think HG is cheap enough for the quality of service offered. You get top live customer support 24/7. If low price is the only thing you are looking for, you are surely going to be messed up very soon. Why not rais a little more funds and go for top host like HG or even BH?

There's a web hosting company named HostTheName which offers shared hosting plans for as low as $1 per month. It's a promotional offer and I'm not sure if it's still available. They have a WSO here but I don't want to post a link because I'm not an affiliate of them. LOL

So just use the search feature and search for "HostTheName."

  I dint find yet any shared hosting that provide unlimited bandwidth and space, soon or latter they push you to upgrade to a high payout plan if you got lot of traffic but in beginning u can use them and then VPS server. In my case i use all the time amazon

There are people on this forum (in the wso section) that offer hosting for as little as 9$ a year, you could start there.

I also saw a deal for netfirms (i forgot the cupon code though) for a full year of hosting for 1$.

Yeahh some WSO have great hosting offers, but are they long term? I'm not sure. You may want to check them out though.

I use Hostgator for my money sites and personal blogs, but if you want cheap hosting then use offshore hosting. I use cheap offshore hosting for my streaming sites, porn sites, etc.
