Clickbank: Which Link To Use?

I have a question re the Clickbank affiliate link:

I will be sending out an email to my list and the email includes the affiliate link, however when selecting a a product to promote you are provided with 2 links - The top one (highlighted in BLACK) and the bottom one (highlighted in BLUE) (SEE PAGE BELOW). Which is the correct link to select to use as part of the email to be able to be correctly credited when a sale is made?

Thanks

The black link is your affiliate URL.

The blue link is the exact same affiliate url but with link code around it for placing in HTML on a website or an HTML email.

If you are just using a plain text email then you want to use just the black link. It can often be nicer to use a redirect page on your website so the url you include in the email looks a lot nicer and less like an affiliate link. Up to you.

Will is right, of course ... but seriously, "neither" is also a pretty good answer, here.

If you mask your hoplink with a .info domain-name redirect (which costs only $1 to do), your click-through rate will rise significantly. Try it for yourself, LR, and sue me for $1 if I'm wrong.

But don't use any of those silly third party "url shortening/forwarding services": that would make it worse, not better - as well as potentially creating a raft of other problems.

The reason Alexa advised the use of .info service as opposed to other services, is because some of the problems that can arise are SPAM issues, no click throughs, and a myriad of other problems.

For just $1, the .info link, not only makes your CB hoplink look better, but also more professional.
