Am I missing something? Everyone seems to have an affiliate link in their signature on this forum and yet mine has been deleted with no explanation given.

Is there a reason? Can anyone enlighten me, please?

Thanks

Peter

    Hi peter,

Well nobody is allowed to have an Affiliate Link in their signatures. If you have seen somebody then again check his SIG

Might be he is linking to his own website
Or if he is using an Aff link then probably his signature will be deleted too like yours.

I highly recommend you to READ the RULES of every thread before you do anything !

    Regards

No; only one or two people. And only temporarily.

You're dead wrong about that. Most people don't have an affiliate link in their sigs and the ones that do are found and deleted. It's in the rules. No affiliate links, and that includes stealthy little redirects to an affiliate url.

Those sig links are people's own products or services.

As mentioned previously, links in signatures are usually pointing towards people's owmn products and services.
