Lots of Ideas, no one uses Live Chat...

I have seen hundreds of ideas for marketing but no one seems to focus on Harvesting, i mean it is all good to drive traffic, but the use of live chat allows a massive 3 to 5% jump in your conversion. Yet no one talks about it. We use www.comm100.com for our live chat platform, on Live Realtor Chat and all our other sites. Mind you we also have the army of staff to manage the chat. But you can start looking after chat yourself, and later farm it out. Anyway, thats my words of wisdom for today.

    Better waste the time on a forum than on a live chat, everything you say will remain here but on live chat everything will be gone.

      yes you are correct, however live chat runs in the background while you are doing other things. I agree, never stop all other activities and wait for chats. Chat when people engage.

      Live chat, although very time consuming, is a very effective way to boost sales for your website.

      Although live chat is beneficial to some business models, a lot of what internet marketer's are involved in can not implement the use of a live chat software. Nevertheless, if your internet business model permits it, try it out. You may be surprised by the ROI.

    Seems to me the chat of choice is Skype. And LOTS of people use it.

      correct again, but you can not send out an invite using skype, this chat software allows you to do that. that is where you get higher conversion. i have been with skype since they had 200,000 users, and i LOVE it. but it does not make me new clients.

      comm100, like many others is free... they just have the most stable platform we found.

    I've heard of outsourcing inbound telemarketing increasing conversions like crazy as well. Not everybody calls but just seeing that there is a phone number adds some extra legitimacy and human element. It can be done for as little as $100/mo.
