Nice, this looks promising. I've looked at a few of the other free plugins and was about committed to go the paid Caffeinated Content route but YAAB sounds like it may be 'the one'

I have been testing this plugin for a few days and have a couple questions. Where can we find rss feeds to add and if a website has a feed is it ok to use any sites feed? On the first and second run it posted 100 post per time, any way to set a limit per day? Mark |

Hi, I recenly installed the yaab plugin, initially I thought great clicked FETCH and everything seemed hunky dory, however, when I checked my blog posts, 12 posts had been submitted from the the one feed I had included in the inital project and all were summaries, lasting no longer than 70 characters. Is there away of getting entre posts submitted via the yaab plugin. thanks in advance, Peter |

For those complaining about the summaries - this is an issue with the RSS feeds. This type of plug-in isn't "scraping". It is re-publishing the RSS feeds. It takes a whole different type of script to scrape the content from a site. Many if not most article directories and quite a few other sites only include summaries in the RSS feed. There are quite a few sites that are actually very successful publishing the summaries. Even some which only publish the titles! Of course, summaries give much less opportunity to put in extra affiliate links and much more chance that the reader will leave your site. You will find that there is a large group of RSS feed owners who are very happy to have their feed published all over the internet as long as links to the original are included. They consider it a benefit. Similar to article marketing. It is actually what the term syndication really means. There is another very large group who regard the feed as something only for the convenience of readers inside a feed reader. This group will feel that you are stealing their content. If they feel that way, then you are. If there is any doubt, just ask them politely. You can throw in some original content, or the Google Reader technique for adding commentary that you will find in another thread and even a plugin like the free UAW plugin to keep from just duplicating somebody else's blog. For those above hoping for some reason to find a plug-in that creates good original content, you need to hire a writer. |

I am not sure I fully understand your question, so let me know if my answer is way off. After entering your keywords in the rss builder page. Hit the "Get Feed'" button and you will be redirected to a page showing the content of the feed. If you like what you see, go to the address bar at the top of your browser and copy the URL. That will be the rss feed URL. You can then paste this URL into any application/plugin that can take a rss feed. If you don't like what you see or see no content, go back to the rss builder page and fine-tune the keywords or check for any typo. | |

Thanks Satheesh for your generosity with the plugin. I have been using it with BAYRSS to automatically place eBay ads under each post. It works really well. I just put the BAYRSS code in the footer box of the YAAB set up page and it lists the ads neatly under the posts as they come in. I tried it also with the PHPBay plugin but it does not seem to like the .htaccess file that PHPBay requires. It will not display the gallery photos and when you click the links it brings up an error page. I need to do some more experimenting with it. However with the BAYRSS it just cruises right along. If it is true that giving brings you blessings, you will certainly be a very well blessed person as are many others I am sure from this forum many of whom have posted in this thread. All the best. Just a quick follow up to my previous post regarding using PHPBay with the YAAB plugin. If you don't use the SEO URLs or the mod_rewrite features when you set up your PHPBay plugin then PHPBay works very well with the YAAB plugin. Without those features enabled it eliminates the .htaccess problem and brings in the eBay and Amazon ads automatically. Chet Hastings |

I haven't tried using phpbay tag with it just yet. I dont see why it would be a problem with SEO links enabled. Do you have the Visual Editor disbaled in your profile ? Anyhow I have included my adsense tag in the context box and that works just fine. Now my adsense ad's are displayed within every feed posted. |

I have downloaded and installed this plugin after spending a morning trying to make feedwordpress work with my custom feed generator. Yaab is working, but it is not pulling down the pictures. Is there a way to make the interval before the timeout longer. Hope that made sense. |

hi, i have finally installed this and try out.. think this will be a much better option then WP-O-Matic. but i need some help on the layout. i have installed on the blog with simple feeds (used only 2) but the output of the feed onto my blog looks kind of weird. there is a huge gap/ spacing between the post title and the post content. is there any way to rectify this issue? anyone having same kind of issue? also, the plugin seems to repeat the title again in the post content, which means users will see post title twice. any advise please? |

Great post! Automated content is always a good thing! I've had a go with the latest version of wordpress and it seems to be working fine. All that's left is getting the traffic to your blog and indexing! Top post and saves a heap of time, thanks!

Guys, I have to say, I've been the biggest advocate of WP-O-Matic, but once I figured out how to use the regex part to do my link replacement, I've switched to YAAB. If he gets the post to email part fixed with the next update, I'm 100% switching to YAAB instead. I don't like the little graphic dude in the plugin, but functionally, it's comparable to WPOM but better because it's actively developed by a dude who hangs out here. |

Do any of the auto-blogging plugins scrape the whole posts rather than just title and summaries or is this an unrealistic expectation? Also could somone explain how you can send the feeds to draft before posting on your site? Cheers, |

Someone else on this thread (I couldn't find it) mentioned that there's a big space between the title and the story text. Anyone have a fix for that? Also, The originating source link only points to the home page of the site of the feed I'm using. Does anyone else have this problem? Could this be due to the fact I am using Yahoo Pipes to aggregate my feeds? Thanks! Ken |
