Article Submitter for Top 20 Directories..

Hi all..

Just wondering if there is an article submitter that submits to the top 20 or so directories eg goArticles, ezineArticles, articleDashboard..

Thanks in advance..

I suggest that you go onto Google, and type in article submitter, and see what results you get.

Also, you could go into the warrior special offers section, and type in the same keywords, you should get a ton of results. There are plenty of submitters out there, as to which one will suit you, only you can decide that.

    Hope this helps.

    Rob.

I know that Big Mike had one that was very inexpensive. I submit all my work manually to the top 4 or 5 and leave it at that. Works for me.

      Thanks for replying guys..

I am using it for traffic generation.. Top 10+ article directories will do..

Sure I can submit to them manually but I want to automate the process to save time.

Hope someone else can help me.

        Hi Fergal,

Respectfully, you're misleading yourself, here: there's no point in trying to use article directories for traffic generation! You wouldn't want your potential customer traffic to go to an article directory rather than directly to the original copy of the article on your own site? (We all lose most of our traffic that way).

I used to submit to 9/10 directories, but (thankfully) stopped when I learned how article directories work and appreciated how much of my traffic I was losing that way.

I think this little thread will help you (posts #2 and #6): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ries-work.html

I understand completely what you are saying.. I do post 90% of my articles to my site. The thread you gave me was great.

I have had a lot of success with article marketing in the not so distant past so I can't agree with everything that the thread says.

Are you able to elaborate on which parts you do not agree with, and what your personal techniques/ experience/ results have been?

I have been following article marketing threads with interest, and am [slowly ] learning - btw many thanks Alexa - but I will admit I'm not quite there yet. Any results and thoughts you can share would be appreciated.

          Hi Alexa,

I understand that you lose search engine traffic by submitting to article directories first instead of publishing on your own site. But aren't you missing out on potential webmasters and content publishers finding your content by not making it available on some directories?

Or is it a case of seeing where your content shows up, tracing it back to the directory that you used, and then eliminating those that aren't performing?

In short - How do you determine which directories are worthy, and which are not?

          Cheers,

          Max.

I used to think so, and it took me nearly two years of doing this to learn the reality that content-seekers have all heard of Ezine Articles and know that it's not "auto-accept" and that there's an "editorial process" there (a plus for them, obviously), and that it's about the oldest and best established. So that's where they go.

This is what I did, but it took a long time. I've done it in 8 different niches, now, with the same findings everywhere, so I think what I found was reliable.

            People syndicate content from EZA.

If your work isn't in EZA, they might syndicate from ArticlesBase and/or GoArticles, because some do look there, too. (I know that one or two other Warriors get work syndicated from those. I don't. But all my articles are in EZA as well, and maybe seen there first).

I use a "punctuation trick" to identify where they're from, so I can always identify the source. (Just something like changing a comma to a semi-colon; nobody notices this apart from me, when I "check up").

"Experimentally" ... but also by chatting with webmasters and ezine publishers over the years: anyone who "wants content regularly" knows about EZA. Unless they have a specialist directory in their niche to try (which is rare), EZA will typically be their first port of call.

I submit to EZA and because I'm an "eggs and baskets" chick, I also submit every article either to GoArticles or to ArticlesBase as well (depending on niche). So far those other submissions have been time wasted for me (but only a minute). I don't imagine that EZA will disappear this time tomorrow, but "just in case" ...

              Great answer Alexa, thankyou

I have read a lot of your advice in other threads (and will continue to do so) but that just cleared up some lingering confusion for me

              Much appreciated!

Phew.. In a way I am glad that it took you that long to learn - Now I don't feel so dumb for asking the questions lol You have dramatically shortened the learning curve for me, thankyou.
