Made my first CB Sale... where did it come from plz help? reporting area confusing

Hi everyone!

I made a sale on ClickBank FINALLY!!! It looks like I've actually made two sales but looking at the info very carefully it looks like maybe I've made a sale and a "rebill"??? Not sure if that means a refund or what? Looked at it more and it looks like the sale was a small first payment than a bigger second payment. I don't remember promoting any products other than a one time purchase price so that's confusing.

The reporting says the vendor is 123secrets.

I've googled that and I've never promoted that product.

I did write articles on Triond and set up for them showing adsense on my articles. Triond is a real POS site as far as I'm concerned, not promoting anything through them anymore. But I use GoArticles, and will be launching my own websites.

But why would a product i've never promoted be giving me an affiliate commission? I certainly don't mind but what can I do to make whatever it is happen again and again? Surely it's got to be something i did in my marketing somewhere... but with clickbank's confusing interface how can you figure it out?

Also would it be possible that that vendor was using (even tho not supposed to) their vendor name for multiple sites?

Is it possible that an adsense ad through triond linked to that product and I got revenue from it? I know that should be a "click-ish" amount not an aff-commission. But seriously what gives???

The reason I need to know so bad is that if it's not something I did than it probably won't happen again but if it's something i did than how can i find out what i did so i can repeat it a bunch and get unexpected commissions more expectably if that makes any sense!

Sarah, it is unlikely that anyone here would know what happened any more than you do. We don't have access to your account so we can't tell. I'm sure Clickbank could help you if you contacted their help desk.

123 Secrets is actually the vendor name. I looked it up, and it took me to the following url: Make Money with Google and Clickbank! If you look down at the purchase price, it says there is a trial price and then a final payment charged some two weeks after that. Further down, it says that affiliates earn 50% commission on the main product and recurring payments (usually happens when the person purchases an up-sell on the back-end).

Is it possible you promoted a link that put a cookie on their machine that credited you when they later made their purchase?

The vendor may have multiple products. Are you sure you're not promoting another of their products? Also... Rebill means you will be getting commissions in the future every time the customer is rebilled, usually by the month or by the year.

The product is this one ...

    https://www.clickbank.com/mkplSearch...rds=123secrets

I checked the sales page. The buy now button is indeed linked to their product 27, so that's definitely what was purchased.

With regard to where the referral came from, that's what the tracking option is for when you build your hoplinks.

    Cheers,
